Our aims and tasks
The Association is established for the purpose of accomplishing the following aims and tasks:
- To recognise the psychotherapeutic profession as a separate profession;
- To set educational standards and regulations;
- To set ethical standards of the psychotherapeutic work;
- To advance the professional practice and encourage research and development in the scientific field of psychotherapy
- To support publishing of scientific and research papers in the field of psychotherapy
- To cooperate with related organisations in the country and abroad according to the law;
- To monitor the practice of its members and the application of Ethical codes of the profession;
- Other aims which originate from the aforementioned aims;
The Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation or physical disability in administration of their aims and tasks, admissions and other programmes.
